Swipe has launched a new smartphone dubbed as Swipe Elite 2 Plus (2017) in its portfolio. The entry-level device comes with a price tag of Rs 3,999. Launched only in the Black colour option, the smartphone is available exclusively from Snapdeal for purchase.
In terms of specifications, Swipe Elite 2 Plus (2017) features a 5-inch VGA (480 x 640p) display. It’s powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. It can be further expanded up to 32GB via a micro SD card.
Moving on to the other specifications, Swipe Elite 2 Plus (2017) sports an 8-megapixel auto-focus rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The smartphone gets the power from the 3000 mAh battery which should render a decent backup on considerable usage. It runs on Android Marshmallow 6.0 operating system out of the box.
On the connectivity front, it offers Dual SIM, 4G, GPS, WiFi and micro USB port connectivity options. The handset measures 145.2 x 72.8 x 9.9 mm and weighs 150 grams.
Swipe launched Swipe Elite 2 Plus last year for Rs 4,444. The Swipe Elite 2 Plus (2017) is the upgraded version of the Swipe Elite 2 Plus. Both the devices have similar specs apart from the camera, battery and operating system.
To be specific, the Swipe Elite 2 Plus was launched with Android 5.1 Lollipop OS, a 2500mAh battery and a 5MP main camera at its rear with LED flash and a 2MP selfie camera.
