Panasonic today launched a new smartphone Panasonic P99 smartphone in India. It’s an addition to the P-Series smartphone range. The stylish P99 is equipped with an improved display, an upgraded version of Android and various front and back camera modes. The handset comes with a price tag of Rs 7490 and is available at all authorised Panasonic stores and retail outlets across the country.
In terms of specifications, the smartphone has a 5.0-inch HD IPS display with a screen resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. It’s powered by a 1.25GHz quad-core processor which is coupled with 2GB of RAM and a 16GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 128 via microSD card.
On the imaging front, Panasonic P99 sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling, which supports several camera modes like beauty, Burst shot, HDR, Watermark. It houses a 2000mAh lithium polymer battery, measures 144.6×71.8×8.6mm, and weighs 145 grams.
The smartphone runs Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box and is already available for purchase from the company’s brand shops and retail outlets in Champagne Gold, Black, and Blue colours.
On the connectivity front, Panasonic P99 offers 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth, GPS, A-GPS, FM Radio, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, dual-SIM and micro USB port.
Earlier, the brand had announced the launch of Panasonic Eluga I4 priced at Rs 8290. The smartphone is available in Blue, Black and Gold colour options at all Panasonic-authorized outlets across the country.
