Intex Technologies has launched the latest 4G VoLTE enabled android smartphone Aqua A4+ in India. As the name suggests, the smartphone is an upgraded version of Aqua A4, launched earlier this year. Priced at Rs 3,999, It will be available in Champagne and Black colour options across all retail stores in the country.
In terms of specifications, the Intex Aqua A4+ features a 4.5-inch display with a screen resolution of 854 x 480 pixels and a pixel density of 245ppi. Under the hood, the device is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC9822 processor coupled with a 1GB of RAM, a 8GB of internal storage and it runs on Android 7.0 Nougat. The internal storage can be further expanded up to 64GB via microSD card slot.
On the camera front, the Intex Aqua A4+ comes with a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and there is a 2-megapixel lens at the front. The rear camera also supports some of the features like such as Panorama, Audio Picture, Burst mode, GIF mode and Beauty mode.
The device is powered by a 2,000mAh battery, which the company claims is good enough to deliver up to eight hours of talk time and up to 300 hours of standby time. On the connectivity front, the smartphone comes with 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS/AGPS, FM Radio, 3.5mm audio jack and micro USB port.
In comparison, the Aqua A4 comes with a small 4-inch WVGA (480×800 pixels) display. It is powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz and paired with 1GB of RAM and internal storage of 8GB. In the photography department, the Intex Aqua A4 sports a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front camera. The smartphone is armed with a 1,750mAh battery.
Last week, the company has also launched another budget-oriented smartphone, the Aqua Lions 2, in India for Rs 4,599.
