Huawei Terminal brand Honor finally launched its Honor 8 Pro smartphone in India. Some of the biggest highlights on the smartphone are its dual camera setup, an impressive 6GB RAM, 128GB internal storage and a massive 4000mAh battery.
The device supports 4K video recording without eating internal storage. Thanks to the efficient H.265 codec that reduces the video’s size to a great extent. Huawei also offers dedicated features that are co-developed with Go Pro, which helps in organizing photos by category and automatically generates video stories that are easily customizable.
The dual-SIM Honor 8 Pro runs Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box which is based EMUI 5.1. The company has touted the adaptive nature of the Operating System in the past and claims that 90 percent of core operations can be completed in 3 easy steps.
In terms of specifications, Honor 8 Pro features a 5.7-inch Quad High Definition (1440×2560 pixels) LTPS LCD display with protection from Gorilla Glass 3 and is powered and supported by a HiSilicon Kirin 960 four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.8GHz and four Cortex-A73 cores clocked at 2.4GHz.
On the optics department, the smartphone comes with a dual rear camera setup that consists of two 12-megapixel sensors with f/2.2 aperture, laser autofocus and LED flash.
