Comio today launched a new smartphone labelled C2 in India. The Comio C2 has been priced at Rs 7,199 and it will be made available through the company’s retail stores in North and West India as well as online through online marketplaces like Snapdeal, Flipkart, Amazon, ShopClues, and Paytm.
The key highlights of the Comio C2 smartphone include a 4000mAh battery and the stock Android experience. The device runs Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box.
In terms of specification, Comio C2 comes with a 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) display. The device is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek processor along with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The storage can be further expanded via a dedicated micro SD card slot.
On the camera front, the handset packs an 8-megapixel primary rear camera, tagged with flash, and another 8-megapixel camera at the front for taking selfies.
Connectivity options on the device include Bluetooth, WiFi, dual-SIM, GPS and micro USB port.
The device comes with an anti-theft feature. In case of any suspicious activity, SIM-based alerts are shared with a registered mobile number. The anti-theft feature also has an image click-seek option, wherein the smartphone clicks the photo of an unauthorized person who tries to unlock the device. Other than this, there are lock and unlock features, shutdown blockers, data backup and SIM-related functions.
Further, the brand has a data tie-up with Reliance Jio for an additional 5GB of data voucher with a recharge of Rs 309 or above. Comio is also offering 30 days DOA, which is a special buyback and upgrade that will allow users to upgrade their old smartphone. Under the offers, users will get an assured 40 per cent return on their existing Comio phones. The smartphone comes with a free one-time screen replacement warranty with six months of purchase to supplement the one-year + 100 days’ extra manufacturer warranty.
